In 1960 a legendary picture was taken in the Austrian Alps by photographer Hans Truöl. The picture shows Olympic downhill ski champion Egon Zimmermann jumping over a ruby-red Porsche 356 B.

In 2021 Porsche decided to honour their past by recreating the historic jump with Olympic downhill ski champion Aksel Lund Svindal and their new Porsche Taycan – Porsche’s first ever electric car.
